In code, blank lines separate logical blocks: functions, classes, and import sections.

Vim treats text delimited by blank lines as paragraphs. `{` and `}` jump across them instantly.

Paragraph navigation

  • }jump forward to the next blank line (end of block)
  • {jump backward to the previous blank line (start of block)
